Anita Harris and Friends play a wide variety of swinging and mellow jazz standards, and would welcome the chance to entertain your patrons or guests. The nucleus comprises Anita Harris as vocalist, backed by keyboard, bass and drums, with trumpet, flute or sax as the event or venue calls for.
The line-up is tailored to suit your needs and to best fit the occasion. A duo is available for intimate settings, right up to extended combos for larger venues and functions. Think about the line up and hours that would suit you, then drop us a line and we will happily provide a quote in writing to suit. PA system can be included in the quote where required, and clients are welcome to use our PA for speeches etc., but not in general for karaoke-type purposes. We are happy to MC functions on request.
We can also offer evenings that focus on the works of specific jazz greats. Some favourites include Clooney Tunes (celebrating the terrific career of Rosemary Clooney), Duke Ellington, Cole Porter (Cole Mining), Hoagy Carmichael, George and Ira Gershwin (our Gershwing show) Rogers and Hart and many more.
